My earlier years of ministry were mostly spent as an elementary school teacher, then as a high school theology teacher. After 25 years in the classroom, I have ministered as President of Assumption College for Sisters, a Provincial Councilor, and as Resource Director at the diocesan evangelization center. Pastoral work in parishes has been the most recent ministry.
I am humbled by my election to the General Council. I can only echo the words of Mother Pauline: “The moment we realize God’s wish we must be ready to relinquish everything, even that which we cherish most.” I trust He will continue to give me the grace to be prayerful, energetic, and faithful.
